Tandem skydiving – Jihlava

Experience details:

Before the jump, your tandem instructor will give you a 15-minute briefing explaining the jump process. You’ll learn how the exit from the plane works, what to do during freefall, and what to expect once the parachute opens. Then you'll suit up in a jumpsuit, get strapped into your harness, and your instructor will perform a safety check. You’ll be given protective goggles, and then it's time to board the plane. The flight to 3,000 meters takes about 30 minutes, and you’ll enjoy a scenic ride up. Once the door opens, it's go time! You’ll freefall for around 30 seconds at roughly 200 km/h. At 1,500 meters, the instructor opens the parachute, and you’ll even have a chance to try steering it. The parachute flight lasts 7–10 minutes. For landing, your instructor takes control and brings you down smoothly and safely.

• Bring your family and friends – there’s plenty to do at the airfield. Refreshments are available for both jumpers and their companions.

Health conditions:

• No medical check-up is needed for a tandem skydive. However, people with epilepsy, heart conditions or diabetes should consult their doctor first. The minimum age is 8 years, and anyone under 18 must have parental consent.

Notes:

• Maximum passenger weight is 110 kg. If your weight is between 90–100 kg, there's a surcharge of 500 CZK. Over 100 kg, the surcharge is 1,000 CZK.
