Oil painting workshop

At our oil painting workshop, you'll dive into the world of colors and create your own canvas measuring 24×30 cm. Oil paints have a rich, creamy texture that we can adjust with different mediums, even making them translucent. This class is ideal for complete beginners and seasoned artists alike. We work with each participant individually to make sure you get the most out of the session. Your finished canvas will take a few days to dry, so you'll take it home carefully wrapped.

Experience details:

You'll dive straight into the creative process. First, your instructor will show you a few painting references to choose the one that inspires you most. Then, they'll demonstrate and explain the basic oil painting rules and techniques in detail – how to mix colors, build textures, and work with light and shadow. After a brief theory segment, it's time to get hands-on. Throughout the lesson, your instructor will give tips, answer questions, and lend a hand.

Notes:

• If there are fewer than 3 of you, you'll join a group workshop with other participants. If there are 3 to 7 of you, it'll be your private group session
• Please book at least 14 days in advance
• Wear whatever you feel comfy in – don’t worry about stains, we'll lend you a stylish apron on site
