Is the exhibition suitable for preschoolers? Can children aged 5–6 handle it?

We recommend visiting with children aged 7 and up. While younger kids can attend, in our experience it’s best to wait until they’re older so they can better understand the purpose of the exhibition. Children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent.

We’d like to visit with our parents – my father uses a wheelchair. Will that be an issue?

We’re sorry, but the exhibition is not wheelchair accessible. It is possible to join the tour using a narrow folding wheelchair, but at one point it’s necessary to stand up and take a few steps (there is a handrail for support).

Why do I have to leave my personal items in a locker?

You’ll spend 60 minutes in total darkness. If anything drops – glasses, keys, phone – it would be very difficult to find it (we can't turn the lights on in the dark area). Bags and coats can also catch on exhibits, which could damage them or even hurt you. Lockers are secure, monitored by cameras, and you hold the only key – since 2011, nothing has ever gone missing.

How does a blind person perceive the world?

Experience the world “through different eyes” – or rather, without one of your most important senses: sight! Our eyes give us the majority of information about our surroundings. But what if you had to give that up for an hour? Take on this unique challenge and see what it’s like. You’ll enter complete darkness and explore an interactive exhibition simulating a home, a forest, or even a bar. To find your way around, you’ll rely on your other senses – mainly touch, hearing, smell, and your sense of balance.

Find out what it’s like to be blind for an hour. This powerful experience might just “open your eyes” in a new way – helping you realize how much more present and mindful life can be when you're not limited to just visual impressions. A visit like this stays with you long after you leave.

Before you step into the dark, you’ll get a chance to explore a display of tools and devices used by blind people. Then, for safety reasons, you’ll need to store all personal items (bags, phones, glasses) in lockers – it’s easy to lose or bump into things in the dark. Your guide will then lead you safely through the experience, giving you tasks along the way. At the end, you’ll visit a bar where you can enjoy a drink in total darkness, chat with friends, and ask your guide anything you’d like about life without sight.

Tma jak v pytli, jen hlas pruvodce a dotyk steny – najednou zjistis, ze i nalejt kolu je level hard; hustej a fakt poucnej trip.

Neviditelná výstava byla hlubokým a jedinečným zážitkem. Na chvíli jsem mohl zažít, jaký je život bez zraku, a to mě donutilo zamyslet se nad věcmi, které běžně beru jako samozřejmost. Doporučuji všem, kdo chtějí zažít něco opravdu netradičního.

Úžasný způsob, jak dát těm, kteří vidí, poznat svět těch, kteří nevidí. Člověk pak hodně přemýšlí a uvědomuje si, jaké má štěstí ,že je zdravý.
