You'll hear fascinating stories about the most iconic Prague cafés of the 19th and 20th centuries—how they started, who frequented them, and their role in both past and modern-day Prague. Then we’ll move on to one of today’s top specialty cafés. There, you’ll get a close-up look at how coffee is roasted. Learn everything from bean to brew, and cap it off with a tasting session. You’ll find out how to judge coffee like a true pro—while enjoying every sip to the fullest.

The walk begins at Křížovnické Square, followed by a guided tour through the hidden corners of old Prague and the world of coffee. You'll visit historic places where coffee was roasted and processed, and learn about the beginnings of Prague's famous cafés—meeting spots for writers, artists, and politicians. Back in the day, cafés were cultural hubs, and anyone who was someone could be found there daily. This part of the experience lasts about 1.5 hours.

Then we’ll move to a partner café in Vinohrady for a tasting session. Learn how coffee goes from fruit to roasted bean, and discover how to taste it like a professional. After this, coffee won’t just be a quick pick-me-up—it’ll become something to savor slowly and lovingly. Approx. 1 hour.
