Pottery wheel throwing is a unique hands-on experience that blends creativity, relaxation, and fun with a dive into ancient craft traditions and techniques. Under the guidance of a professional ceramicist, you’ll get to shape your own original piece—like a bowl, mug, or decorative item. The whole experience takes place in a cozy, welcoming ceramic studio that’s perfect for inspiring creativity. Whether you're coming alone, with a partner, or in a small group, the pace and difficulty can be adjusted to suit your comfort level.

Highlights of the experience: Discover an ancient craft. Learn something new and create a piece with your own hands. A perfect way to unplug and recharge.

Duration: Around 3 hours, plus an optional extra session for glazing (or the ceramicist can glaze your piece for you).

Who it’s for: Suitable for adults and children 10+ (with an adult), no previous experience needed.

Experience details:

After a short intro (covering the history of the pottery wheel and basic techniques), you'll spend 2 focused hours working on an electric or foot-powered wheel. You can have your creations fired and come back to glaze them yourself (optional second visit), or let the ceramicist handle glazing. After the final firing, you’ll get your finished pieces either in person or by post.

Experience includes:

• 1-hour intro with snacks and theory
• 2 hours of hands-on work on the pottery wheel
• 2 hours of glazing or glazing done by the ceramicist
• 2 firings in an electric kiln
• All materials included – 5 kg of clay, glazes, use of all tools, kiln, and exclusive access to the studio

Experience does not include:

• Transportation to the venue, services or items outside the package
