Natural waterpark Sušec – canyoning in Slovenia

Sušec is a popular spot for canyoning in Slovenia, located between the towns of Kobarid and Bovec in the beautiful Soča Valley. Expect a mix of jumping (1–7 meters), sliding down natural rock slides, and rappelling down waterfalls. It’s a great adventure for families with kids aged 8 and up.

Experience details:

We’ll meet at our base in Bovec, where you’ll get a full briefing and all the gear you need – wetsuit, neoprene socks, professional canyoning shoes, helmet, and harness. Then we’ll jump into cars and head to the canyon – the drive takes about 10 minutes. We’ll change into swimwear, grab our equipment, and start the 30–40 minute uphill hike to the top.

At the top, we’ll suit up, go through a quick safety briefing and then it’s straight into the canyon! From there, it’s all about having fun – sliding, jumping, and rappelling through the canyon. The canyoning experience takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on group size and pace. Your dry clothes will be waiting for you in the parking lot where the tour finishes.
